We are proud to announce that Petteri Hakalin is joining the Tupl team to enhance our technical and business development teams to service our main accounts.
Petteri has over 25 years of professional experience in the telecommunications field, with positions ranging from research to sales management, including his latest experience in Cognitive Network Solutions Technical Sales Support at Ericsson.
Throughout his career, Petteri has had the opportunity to work both for big network vendors like Nokia and Ericsson as well as in a start-up company such as Optimi, where his main contribution was being responsible for the P&L of the Central and Latin America regions, helping to make this region one of the fastest growing within the company. This included establishing Optimi Central and Latin America headquarters in Brazil in 2008 and administration of the new subsidiary.
Petteri holds a Master's degree in Information Engineering and Telecommunications from University of Oulu, Finland.
“Petteri brings a wealth of experience, market knowledge and technical know-how into Tupl. We are excited about the opportunity and the contribution that Petteri can have with our customers and our team”, says Hector Montes, Tupl CCO and Head of Telco Business Unit.
On a personal note, Petteri is married with two children. He is from Finland but has lived outside of Finland practically half of his life. He has a black belt in judo, but confesses to be constantly beaten in martial arts and psychology by his 3- and 5-year-old boys ;-).
